frostbitten toes in a bar..
went to the 'ice bar' in viaduct harbour.. called 'minus 5' i think. yes.. it was cold. had to wear the thick jumper. $20. to get in for 1/2 an hour and you get one free drink. mm.. something that i would recommend experiencing once. but then.. probably not worth a second time. heh.. anyhoo.. it wasn't too bad. only a few ppl can go in at one time though. had to book to get in. mm.. felt more like i was in an ice sculpture exhibition:P. i think i downed my drink too fast. cuz apparently.. if you down your drink too fast, or drink too much.. the moment you get out of the freezer, your blood rushes everywhere and to your head.. immediate head spin.. @.@.. it was quite cold inside.. my toes and fingers were quite frozen.. eeps>.<
my swatch watch battery is dead.. i keep looking at it.. but then only to realise that it's stuck at 2 minutes to 10. had dinner at 2nd sis' bf's place. cuz his mate from kuching who's studying in melb is currently in town. went for a drink b4 dinner. was so hungry.. and i had a drink. another immediate head spinner.. gah..
mm.. after the ice bar we were at Lenin.. joel, stefan, ben and logie joined me and my sis and her frens there a while. they left for home earlier though.. we moved on to 6th sense.. and then on to 'occidental'.. the home of uber yummy mussels. lip smacking. but no.. we didn't have any food. just fries. we were so hungry!
oh my goodness. i'm so blur!! the most important thing happened today.. DOh>.<.. I PASSED MY FULL LICENSE DRIVING TEST!!! i am now officially a full license driver.. and i can carry passengers without having to worry about being caught. i can drive after 10! YES!!! i have been waiting for this day!! thank God.. and praise God that he helped me!! hehehe:D :D i could've hugged my tester.. muahaha.. he was quite a nice guy. he kept advising and hinting to me the things that i wasn't really doing. like checking my left rear view mirror. which i did after that. sooo... he passed meeee!!! i'm soooooOOOOoo HAPPPY!!!! yippeee!!!:D i was sooo nervous before that. but thank God everything went rather smoothly.. phew.. even though i did make a few mistakes here and there.. but pHEw!!!
gosh.. this post is really.. random.. heh.. anyhoo.. i'm off to bed. i have to go to uni to do my prelab.. on a damned saturday!! yes!! i've lost my mind. it's fine. you can recoil in horror and shock at the thought of me being in uni to DO work on a SATURDAY! geez.. i've got a long day ahead.. and i'm going to ROTORUA on sunday!! skipping classes on monday. thus i have to do my work tomolo...so, in essence.. i haven't really lost my mind la.. but i guess it's a give and take situation. oh well.. :P.. i get to attend a $80 hangi.. and i get to spend more $$.. but.. i wanted a holiday didn't i?
*edit*: i realised.. i didn't really tell you about the ice bar.. it's a bar that's totally made outta ice.. well, kinda.. the walls are ice.. the chairs are ice.. the bar is made outta ice.. the cups are ice.. the sculptures are *duh* ice.. and everything.. yeah.. that's the description.. :P
also.. in the ice box.. there were windows to the outside world.. heh.. yeah.. anyway.. i saw the guys trying to get into the bar next door. and i was just waiting and waiting for them to look over.. and i was waving like mad at them.. then this guy walks past and sees me waving wildly.. and he thought i was waving at him!!! and he waves back.. egad!! i didn't know whether to run away or just continue waving cuz i finally managed to catch the guys' attention.. aiyoh!!! so malu!!!!
