it's not my burp! it's cow dung!
it's gonna be a long one..so, i'm thinking.. to make things short? mebe i should do a time line thing.. okay? okay..
SUnday:
:AM:
7sumthing: i woke up.. kinda late.. cuz the night b4 slept late.. washed up, showered had brekkiie.. shoved off to Rotorua at 8.30am
11 something almost 12: arrived in Rotorua. checked in the motor inn. room wasn't ready. had lunch. wedges were yuck. ordered too much food.. overstuffed.
:PM:
1: after lunch. we dropped off our things in the motel. then headed for the Luge. took the gondola up.. stuck on EXTREMELY STINKY helmets *yelch* and proceeded for the first time in my life down in a Luge.. WhoooPpeeeee.. WHEeeeee.. was FUN! other than the times where i nearly lost control that is.. ekekkeke.. saw someone fly off the track.. stupid fella tried doing stupid stuff. but anyhoo..
2.45-ish: realised how late it was.. headed to the Polynesian Spa. arrived and decided to pay for the semi-private pools.. the 'natural rock' pools.. whoaa.. not bad not bad for $30.. but then stupid pool floors were a bit rough at some spots.. scraped my knee at a few places. the joke at the spa? well, me and my sis, being gurls of course, took slightly longer than the guys to get ready. when we came out. her bf and his fren were already out.. in a pool in the corner.. so we joined them.. oh my goodness.. the water was BURNING HOT!!! arrghh.. later we realised why.. there were 4 pools there.. each pool was of different temperatures ranging from 36-42 degrees celcius. and guess which pool they headed straight to? yep.. 42.. brilliiant.. probably scalded some skin cells liao..
4.30: left the pools to get ready to head back to motor inn. needed to get ready for the hangi later that nite.
6.15: waited for the bus to pick us up to bring us to the Maori Village for the hangi and maori cultural show.
6.45: bus was late.. we had a very interesting bus driver. you'll know why later.. okay, so, we get there.. watch the cultural show and stuff.. was rather interesting. food was good.
10.15: board bus to return home.. bus driver named Wallace had a brilliant idea.. each country(well, visitors from the different countries) had to sing a song when the country's name was called out. brilliant. me, 2nd sis, 2nd sis' bf and his fren were scratching our heads trying to think of a song. our turn came.. bus driver mentions something about "Rasa Sayang".. so we sang "rasa sayang".. kekek.. oh.. that's not it.. when we reached the 'bright lights' of rotorua or so he calls it.. we were approaching a round-about and he goes.. let's sing a song.. "She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes.. she'll be coming....." and round and round the round-about we went.. okay.. so, it was 2 full rounds before he exited the round-a-bout. gawsh.. after a full dinner sumore..
wanted to soak in the spa in the motel room.. but then we weren't allowed to after 10.30 pm.. dang!!
Monday:
:AM:
8 something: i wake up.
9.30: go to the motel next door for our free brekkie.. guess what time the brekkie was meant to be until? 9.30. -.-" oh well.. we made it anyway..
10.00: realised we spent too much time at brekkie.. we had to make it for the Lady Knox geyser eruption at 10.30. reach the place at 10.30 sharp.. we missed the initial eruption ledi.. cuz it erupts at 10.15.. but we were still able to catch the thing spouting water.. boy.. that thing sure has a lot of water.. was still spouting water like 40 mins after the initial eruption!walked around the wai-o-tapu thermal park.
:PM:
12.00: leave for Taupo. sis' bf's fren wanted to do the bungy jump.
1 something: reach Taupo. sis' bf and his fren bungy jump. sis' bf got a BIG soaking.. when all he wanted to do was just to 'touch' the water. hahahhahah.. farneee...
2: head to town for lunch.. yummers..
3 something: leave Taupo.. on the way to the Huka Falls just outside of Taupo town, my sister winds down the window for 'fresh air'... sis bf's fren,K, follows suit.. opening his window BIG.. i started smelling POoo.. oh goodness.. we were passing a herd of cows.. farmland ppl farmland!! i opened my mouth to tell them to shut the window.. but a huge BURP escaped instead(i blame BK's whopper burger + L&P fizzy drink!!).. K erupts into laughter. sis thinks it's cuz my burp stank cuz there were onions in my burger and wasn't breathing through her nose.. thus she wans't able to smell the POO.. i couldn't help but laugh too.. i finally stuck my fingers to my nose in an effort to tell them that the 'fresh' air.. wasn't so fresh after all.. and they finally got the message..and wound up the window.. still laughing our heads off though -.-"
arrived at the huka falls.. marvelled at the falls and the gorge and the power of the water. and we left for hamilton.
6 somethting: reach hamilton. dinner at Tables.. i ordered a 350g steak.. hey.. worth it la.. 250g was $28.00.. an extra 100g just cost an extra $2.00.. anyway.. had help from ppl by me giving away 1/3 of my steak.. hehehehe
9.45: depart hamilton.
11.15: arrive back home.. shower.. and then guess what? i found that my cupboard shelves are sinking!!! cuz the plastic brackets supporting the shelves are all broken cuz my clothes too heavy!!! *bawwwl* had to move all my jackets and basically almost emptied my wardrobe!!! arrghh.. now my clothes are on the stairs going up to the roof/deck and my jackets are all downstairs. geez..
today was tiring. i skipped my 8 am lecture.. cannot wake up la.. but i've been rushing around the whole day.. mm.. will post pics later la.. now a bit too tired.. erm.. better go do my work now.. hehehe.. later!
