lalala..
hello everyone.. ah.. today.. was quite an eventful day too.. interesting how so many things happen when you're visitin for a holiday.. first of all, i met up with 3 of my close gurlfrens..syaz, kom & nic.. then as usual lar.. you're bound to bump into some frens when you're in a mall that's located in the township where you live.. so.. bumped into a couple of other frens..
anyway. it was so nice to meet up with my gurlfrens. missed them loads.. miss the yakking.. haha.. well, went shopping after that. thank goodness my dad anticipated that i'd be spending money and gave me more.. haha.. ended up buying loads. it's amazing how much RM 150 can get u in m'sia. i bought.. a sweater, a pair of shorts, 4 t-shirts. and what can i get in nz? mm. a nice top or 2? that's of course after all the conversion and all.. but it's really expensive to shop in nz lar... i was so deprived of shopping. whoa.. think i better slow down a li'l on the shopping.if everyday were like today,i think my dad will be broke before long.. haha..
the word deprived kinda reminds me of something. haha.. yeah, we went to carrefour and were buying some snacks for our malacca trip.. haha.. joy for joy!! i found twisties AND mr. potato!! hahah.. some of the things that are non-existent in nz. well, ok.. there are twisties in nz. but it's diff. esp. when you can't find the tomato flavour ones. yum! haha.. can't wait. ooo. bought the biggest pack of twisties i could get my hands on. was complaining to my fren why they had a xtra large pack of chicken flavoured twisties but not tomato but this was quickly abated by syaz pointing out to me where the largest pack of tomato flavoured twisties could be found.. oops.. hey.. not my fault kay.. it was like the LOWEST shelf like practically floor level!! yeah.. well, bought that and some instant noodles just in case we don't have anything to eat in m'ca. find that hard to believe tho.
Yay!! today's the first time I've seen my newest cuzzie.. li'l baby eilise..er.. i think that's how you spell her name. met up with my uncle to see his new house. man.. chelsea(eilise's eldest sister) is sooooo talkative.. wah liew.. the WHOLE nite she was like yap yap yap yap yap.. and well, that's not exactly a good thing esp. when you're suffering a li'l form jet lag. a bit in a blur now. think i better go sleep b4 i bcome not sleepy.. yikes! but anyway.. was trying to carry my cuz eilise properly.. dad and mum giving me lecture on how to hold Eilise properly blablabla.. aiyaa.. maklumlar.. i haven't had kids b4 lar.. (and not planning to for the next 10 years or so..) it's a bit scary too you know.. carrying a 2 and 1/2 month old baby! they are soft like jellyfish ler.. no self support..
ok.. i've figured out.. the best time to play with kids are when they are about a year old or older.. then they are strong enough so that u don't have to carry them like you're carryin porcelain AND when they still don't have enough words in their vocab to talk so much!!haha..
oh.. had fish for dinner.. ok.. eating fish is fine with me. had catfish today.. one part of the fish that really grossed me out to the extent of almost making me lose my appetite was the whiskers of the fish.. they look like worms! arrghh.. i hate worms! and they just look disgustin.. yuck.. and ok.. fine.. i still managed to eat.. suddenly.. i found SOMETHING else in my fish!! arrghh.. it looked really disgusting kay.. it looked as if it was a cluster of WHITE baby ROOTS that again reminded me of worms and it was hard like bone or somthing.. BUT!! it's something that i've never seen b4 on a fish ok.. i HAVE had a fair share of fish in my lifetime ok..even my dad din know what that thing was.. but that was just really disgusting lar...arrghh.. my appetite just totally diminished after that. no more catfish for me for dunno how long lar.. arrghhh!!!
