malacca was not too bad..
yep. had fun times and tiring times too.. but it was all good.. had to walk around lots cuz had no car.. yep.. walked around in the heat.. and the night too.. that was a li'l creepy. esp. when we were walking past this big warehouse that was dark and empty and had no doors.... on a road that wasn't very busy. there were cars.. but not many pedestrians. just the 4 of us.. but.. nothing happened.. thank goodness. wouldn't want anything to!
anyway.. we visited the historical places.. went to jonker st.. bought some stuff. i say, 80% of the souvenirs i purchased was.. er.. food? hey.. come on.. it was the famous malacca pineapple tarts. AND.. the 'ting ting' sweets.. the one that you have to whack to break apart cuz it's made as one big block. yep.. the olden day type of sweets.. yum.. haha.. think my dad really loves the mint one i bought. should've bought more.. oh dear..thought i shouldn't buy too much. parents will scold. instead.. quite the opposite happened really. well, they din complain too li'l or anythin.. just that they like eating the stuff i bought. haha.. good..
man.. tired.. was lucky that a fren of mine had a college mate from m'ca. so he drove us around a bit. it wasn't too bad. just that i realise that the roads in m'ca seriously need better signs..AND..the maps need to be more detailed.. oh.. and one more thing.. they need sidewalks..seriously scary to be walking on the side of the narrow rd. where you have a motorbike coming straight at ya and cars passing you too.. arrghh!!! AND.. the men seriously need some educating. yeah.. first on the list should be.. respect a group of female tourists by not calling, whistling, honking and etc. at them. :note: i detest being called "ah moi!" by those blardey "ham sap lohs"! felt like throwing my bottle at them. but thought twice. my bottle is precious. without it.. i have no water.. without water.. i get my migraines.. next time.. i'll bring this really huge muscular guy with me. dear frens of mine, of the male species of course, anyone interested in body building?? i'll gladly pay for your transport there! and.. a car is a luxury which i seriously take for granted.
oh.. i also found that.. taking a bus is just a waste of time. wat usually takes me 2 hours.. took 4 hours in a bus. bah..and i'm talking about the journey of course. poor syaz, she wasn't feeling well the whole trip.. i was hoping and wishing the bus ride was over for both of us. but syaz needed it more than i did. here's a comfort hug for you honey!!hope you're better..
