hah.. i can still move manual cars!!!
after about a year of not touching a manual car, i finally drove one today. okay, so.. maybe it wasn't really driving as i only stayed within 1st and reverse gear.. but hey.. it's an achievement nonetheless!!!hahahhaha.. and the engine only died on me once.. while i was trying to reverse uphill. you see.. the thing is. when i left to send someone back to uni, i saw 2 parking spaces outside.. but the problem was i couldn't book the parking as i have to fetch my sister from work. so i decided. fine.. i'll drive HER MANUAL car out. hah.. so i did.. after searching the whole house for her keys of course. hahahha..
anyhoooo.. got into the car.. and remembered.. oh yes.. 3 pedals .. must remember that.. 3 pedals!! and i engaged first gear.. moved out without the engine dying on me!! horrraaahh.. got out onto the road.. and positioned my car. engaged gear to reverse.. balanced the car(as i was on a slope) and tried reversing.. but the car moved forward instead.. okay.. so i thought i hadn't engaged the gear properly.. bugger.. re-engaged gear again.. but heck.. no.. it didn't work again!! blerghh.. and sumore i was pressing the accelerator quite heavily that it was going "VRRRRooooOOOommm" soo embarassing. cuz i was on the main road.. lucky not many ppl around.. hehehehe^.^..
okay.. so maybe something wasn't working properly. tried changing from first to second to third to fourth to fifth and fiinally reverse.. but STILL it wouldn't work. bah.. here i was.. stuck parked in not a perfect manner but still okay la.. so i was contemplating on leaving it there. but then.. i decided. BAH.. i'm going to try this again.. however this time.. using the skills i learnt in m'sia(manual driving lessons 2 years ago btw..) i pressed the accelerator and released the clutch until i felt the car move a li'l.. ah hah!!! it worked!!! bugger.. my sister's clutch only releases when it's really really really really high!!! aarghh.. hahahah.. reversed.. wah.. so confident.. so i wanted to reverse to the other parking space. but then.. was reversing too fast so i slowed down.. and then.. the engine died.. then i decided.. haiyoh.. too much trouble.. i think i'm just gonnna park in the way infront.. sigh.. oh well, at least i half achieved something.. kekekek... not bad wut.. after more than a year of not driving manual cars. in fact.. ever since i passed my driving test in m'sia.. i've been driving auto cars.. only driven manual cars like once or twice oni.
MAN!!! i nearly lost whatever was written up there!! cuz my hand accidentally hit some button on the keyboard!! thank God for the undo button!!!! PHEWW!!!
