Where Have All the Flowers Gone

Artist(Band):Kingston Trio   Where have all the flowers gone? Long time passing. Where have all the flowers gone? Long time ago. Where have all the flowers gone? Young girls picked them, ev'ry one. When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn? Where have all the young girls gone? Long time passing. Where have all the young girls gone? Long time ago. Where have all the young girls gone? They are all in uniform When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn? Where have all the young men gone? Long time passing. Where have all the young men gone? Long time ago. Where have all the young men gone? Gone to soldiers ev'ry one. When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn? Where have all the soldiers gone? Long time passing. Where have all the soldiers gone? Long time ago. Where have all the soldiers gone? Gone to graveyards, ev'ry one. When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn? Where have all the graveyards gone? Long time passing. Where have all the graveyards gone? Long time ago. Where have all the graveyards gone? Covered in flowers, ev'ry one. When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn? Where have all the flowers gone? Oooh oooh. Where have all the flowers gone? Long time ago. Where have all the flowers gone? Young girls picked them ev'ry one. When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?   Lately, I've watched or been had a number of things reminding me of the World War 2. I think this song nicely sums it all. How can people forget the terrors and debilitating consequences of war. Is it really worth it? I guess that's humanity for you.
