coffee&hyperness(but the hyperness is totally unrelated to the coffee)
dunno why.. just feeling so hyper.. hehe.. can't stop smiling.. hahah..oh kay.. just went thru this pre lab assessment thingy. okay.. first Q.. describe why cells need enzymes. Oh kay.. that's an easy enough Q.. oni prob is.. i can't remember how to answer it..oh well..
ed asked me to blog. so i will.. first lecture tomolo. feeling kinda apprehensive. with the big class and all.. i feel kinda intimidated by it alll. scary in a way. cuz of the large amount of ppl i suppose. but heck.. we'll see how everything goes. first class i have is chem. oh great.. chem first thing in the morning. brilliant.. i used to dread having chem first thing in the morning. oh well, now i have the liberty of sleeping in class. haha.. 'tis all good. unlike school i suppose. shit. it was SOOO hard trying NOT to fall asleep..specially since i was sitting right in front of the teacher. ack..
i'm kinda sleepy and brain dead. didn't do much today. just went for breakfast at Dunk. this cafe on parnell rd. cool place. love the place. ppl are nice. coffee's reputed to be good. and the food there is yum!hehe.. real worth it.. was feeling so full after that. egad.. after all i did have the BIG breakfast.. eeps.. it always amazes me how big the portions are. oooo.. talking about cafes and all.. guess what.. according to my sister's fren. they say that nz coffee's one of the best. don't know why. (hey ed. you'd be real happy here!) haha.. i have to admit. the few cups of coffee that i've had are good. haha.. of course you'd have to know where to go. but on the whole, nz coffee is pretty good. my sis has this theory that that is why places like Starbucks in US do so well. cuz in US that's where they get the best coffee.. eh.. don't know how true this is. but in nz.. the best coffees are from those li'l cafes around. starbucks coffee is not the place to go for good coffee.. hehe.. this fren of my sister's went to US recently and came back complaining that coffee just isn't good over in US. haha.. on the subject of coffee.. i think m'sian coffee's quite good too. but it has a different taste from the european coffee.. i suppose it's the way it's been.. er.. cooked?haha. yeah. european coffee beans are roasted rite? and the m'sia one is sorta.. er.. in a way fried. but not with oil or anything(actually.. i'm not too sure.. haha).well, all i know is it's been roasted in a different way. and it comes out having a totally different aroma. very unique really.
ah.. that's why ed.. since you love coffee SO much.. you should come to nz!!haha.. u can use the excuse that you're just saving me from boredom.. anyone else who loves coffee? pls do come to nz and see whether i'm wrong about their coffee.. ehhe.. till later..
