Good Grief..
Orientation Day ONe(well.. er.. day 2 for the uni but day one for me.. heh heh... lucky din go yesterday!):
Found out that:
1) it takes a blardey 45 minutes(NOT including time taken to wait for the bus which was about 10 mins).. therefore.. it takes me almost an hour to get to uni.. wait.. make that an hour and 5 mins including time to walk to the bus stop and bus stop to class. aarrghhh!!
2) my classes are bigger than i thought. stupid ppl. mislead me.. i thought they'll separate the classes considering they wrote on the enrolment online that the class size is limited to 120 ppl. but noooo.. me and my fren who's taking food science are in the same class.. one BIG happy family? 400-500 ppl in each of my classes. tsk tsk..
3) got 2 heavy course manuals. and by the way.. you know.. i didn't get any letters(and my orientation pack) from them telling me to collect my course manuals from them.. yeah.. you know.. it's also stated on the letter that i SHOULD read up the lit. for the first lecture.. AND do the pre-lab work.. WHAT!? i haven't even stepped into ONE class and i get work!?nvm.. gets my lazy ass working b4hand
4) most likely i have to buy new text books(this is gonna kill me) for some cds that come with it or some crap..
5) there's a BIG chance i don't qualify for bursary payment!! ARGHHHHHHH!!! shit ppl.. come on.. i earned that fair and square.. i worked my arse off for that freaking A BURSARY!!! STUPPIIDDD.. IT'S NOT LIKE I'M EVEN ASKING FOR STUDENT ALLOWANCE!!DAMN YOU!!!!
6) i think i have to go collect my chem course manual tomolo. but then. i'm not too sure whether i have a course manual to collect. everything's not clear.
okok.. enough negatives i suppose.. but yeah.. the positives?
1) i have a friend in my classes now. so i won't be alone.. YAY!!! and our schedules are exactly the same.. hahah.. except for labs of course.
2) so far so good.. i know where all my classes are..
3) met a few ppl from my old school in uni. fitting in.. okay i suppose. just be non-existent i suppose. haha.. lucky for amy.. if not i'd be really bored.
eh.. dunno what else to say. lazy to think. so tired. walking around. tomolo.. will be goin in again. will be going to collect the chem course manual if there is one to begin with.. and well, to test another bus route. i hope this one's better. but i'm seriously doubting it. i think it'll take me 40 mins to get to uni. oh man.. i'm seriously thinking of driving there. ok.. pay.. but then.. sigh.. i really don't know now. i'll be waking up damn early just to take the stupid bus.. thinking.. at least 3 years of this. ack.. i'm so dead. this sucks. really does. my legs are itchy.. thanks to the heat.. and all that walking.. damn..
i've cleared the right side of my desk that was previously filled with loads of rubbish so i can put my laptop there and leave it on. so..i can do my work and leave my comp on at the same time.. muahhhaha.. shit.. i'm addicted to the internet. yes indeed.. i am.. hahah.. went to the city for lunch. damn it.. queen st. is so damn long. and i thought studylink was no. 250.. NOOO>.... it's no. 450!!!(btw..i actually forgot to bring the address.. and i remmebered 250, lucky amy was there to remind me- THANK U'S TO AMY!!!) aaaarrhhhhh.. ok.. walk.. walk.. with the course manuals and a whole load of junk. hahah.. made it there.. ah.. walking in nz's okla.. not as bad as walking in m'sia.. hehehe
feeling tired now. i have no idea how i'm going to survive uni.. even today.. i was an hour later than i would usually be.. oh no.. i seriously have to ask and discuss this with my sister... sigh.. gonna call the bus company and ask them wat buses pass near my house to downtown.. take the free bus.. think i'm gonna have to stop in front of this strip club called 'Showgirls'. dodgy area..ack..
