hoping..
me actually hoping that this whole week will be a week where i can't find parking on the roof top. THEN!!! MAYBE.... when i call to complain for the SECOND time.... they will HAVE to do something about it! muahahhaa.. and let's hope that that something is suitable to my needs (^.-) heheehheh!
(stats: 2 days no parking; 1 day lots of parking.)
anyway.. life so far has been rather uninteresting. basically a blurb blurb blob blob run-around life. lab yesterday was F.U.N! can u spell that!??? NOT! blaahh.. talk about boringness.. microbiology! ugh.. microscopes.. aaaarrghh.. my eyes were like seriously strained by the end of the lab. no kidding. can die. but yes. i survived. by leaving out like one whole 'not-so-important' part of the lab.yes.. a whole section! section 3. and if you like specifics, it was where i was meant to observe a drop of pond water for whatever micro-watchamacallits that are present in the water.
i was given an agar plate filled with bacteria..
instructions:find and identify 2 colonies present on agar plate.
christine's mind: but the whole thing's the same!! what the???? what's the difference? i think they didn't put the 2nd type of bacteria in!
lab tutor comes along.. dum de dum.. oh.. look here.. *points to minute 0.1cm blob of bacteria* That's one colony.. and then look here *points to another minute 0.15cm blob* that's another..
christine(upon looking MUCH closer): "oh.. i see the difference.. that one.. has a wavy edge whereas the other's just a smooth circle!! *cue "ooohs" and "aaaahhhs"*
anyway.. getting back into the groove of maths maths and more maths. need.. to... get.. back.. into... m'sian way of studying mindframe! must keep telling self that if i managed to survive m'sian schooling system, i can take whatever's being thrown at me now! yes!!!!! optimism is the way to go! wooohoOOOOo. oh great. now i'm going nuts.
watched harold and kumar goes to white castle again for the 2nd time. i have to say that i enjoyed it more this time that i did last time. hahaha.. damn funny. kinda shows how wonky the americans MAY be. hmmmmm....
and i'm off.. to do something.. i think i'll try and install the statistical program on my computer and figure that thing out. ciao.
