i got fined for not having a Warrant Of Fitness(WOF)[i have to bring my car for a 'check-up' every 6 months/1 year depending on your car's age]. basically i do have one. but it expired... in APRIL. great.. aarrghh.. my mistake. i didn't check. but the scariest thing ever when the guy pulled me over was cuz i had a passenger in the car.. when i'm NOT supposed to.. *cry*.. stupid NZ rules for restricted drivers! BAH! okay, so the cop stops me.. and i think everything should be fine. except. when he tells me.. "i'm just checking for registration and WOF and i see that your WOF has expired". cue for my heart to stop beating right HERE! arrghh..and my fren goes "SHIT..."
so yeah.. basically i have a fine of $150. but i managed to worm my way out of the carrying passengers bit. you see.. i did a very horrible thing. and i'm not at all proud of it. i gave him my m'sian FULL license instead of my NZ probationer/restricted license. i just told the guy that i didn't have my NZ license with me cuz i was told by the AA(automobile assoc.) ppl that i can use my m'sian license for a year. which isn't all a lie. but isn't exactly the truth either. basically it's this. i'm very grateful that i didn't get any fine for me bringing passengers. if that were the case, my parents would've killed me by now.
however, this WOF thing isn't as bad.. cuz dad just says.. "hmmph.. nothing to be angry about.. it's just a learning curve for you". and i agree.. now, i will forever be paranoid about my WOF. but if i were to have gotten a ticket for carrying passengers.. haha.. i probably won't see daylight anytime soon. no.. the car would be totally off-limits. to my friends out there. i'm sorry. i think i'm backing out on carrying passengers until i get my full license. i tend to be a magnet for police. yes.. yes..
Thank u mr. policeman for letting me off for carrying passengers. police are good. as long as you're not on the wrong side of the law...okay.. wake up at 8am. and go get WOF done. MUST wake up!!!
