Hoozah!
finally got to watch harry potter. slept at 4.30 this morning. after going through all the prospectus &handbooks on different majors. also did some career guidance thing online. and checked out some careers. i'm really confused now.
mum woke me up at 11 something. had to go for lunch and the market to get some veges and things. dad dropped me off in the city at around 3. told him to drop me off where i used to drop my sis off for work. what i didn't realise is.. that the place was actually not where i thought it was. i thought it was much closer to the cinema. but i was really off my mark la. hahaha..oops.. it was like 1 and a half blocks away from the cinema. ler!
after getting the tickets. decided to go look for facial blotters. was contemplating on whether or not to go downtown plaza to get a prepay top up for cheaper. but then.. was a bit too far cuz had to be back by 4. and that time it was already 3.20. so i was walking around. then decided to check the pharmacy out. didn't realise the pharmacy was quite a distance away. and by the time i got to the pharmacy. i realised i was closer to downtown than the cinema. hahah.. i had time to spare. so,i visited amy a bit and went to body shop with her to get my facial blotters cuz it was cheaper there. hehehe.. quite good oso. got one that has tea tree oil.
and then stef calls and tells me he's already at the cinemas.. cuz he didn't stop in downtown but in uni and he walked down instead. ugh..and i realised.. it was already 3.50. aiyah.. haha.. i actually made it back to the cinemas from downtown plaza in 10 minutes. it's like walking the whole length of queen st. mind you. i actually MIGHT have been able to catch the free bus. but i came out of downtown just to see the bus waiting at the traffic lights(i.e left the bus stop ledi).. and then the bus moved off. aaaaarrghh! kept catching up to the bus oni for it to move off.. haha.. but i pretty much knew that i wouldn't be able to catch the bus edi. blah.. had to break into a run sometimes. so malu. hahaha..
harry potter wasn't too bad. i mean.. it's quite jumpy here and there. but still spectacular views and all.. really interesting. kekeke..i won't say it was the best. but it wasn't too bad.
mum cooked 'mee siam' today. it's basically fried vermicelli but is spicy cuz you have chilli and all.. sooo yummy:P. one of my favs. aaahh.. had so much.. *burp* oh.. and to top that all off.. 1 and 1/2 kiwi fruits and also cheese & wine.. we've been opening a bottle of wine almost everyday since my parents arrived. yeesh.. 3 bottles in .. um.. 5 days. compared to the usual of hardly any. hahah.. ugh.. need to take a bath. mmm.. longing for the hot hot shower. feel so grubby cuz was walking round city. can't complain though. can't be as bad as walking around in m'sia. you end up all sticky and icky. ugh.. heheh.. mm.. talking about walking round the city. it's quite interesting the kind of ppl you see around city. quite.. unique you may say. the different ppl, different styles. some really, awfully odd. but you'll always find something that catches your eye. i wonder what is it about metropolitan places/cities and odd characters. somehow the more metropolitan a place gets, the more unique characters you get around.
