silly ol' me? or just plain.. forgetful?
bordering dumb even =.=" the ultimate i tell you. i don't know whether to feel old/stupid/what. how could i forget? okay.. not surprising. it was going to happen one day. and today was that day.
you see, i went downstairs at 5 something to throw the rubbish and go for a walk. and then i notice that the glass on the windows and the deck door is all fogged up at the top. and i was like "huh???" it was an extremely bright and sunny day btw. how could it have fogged up!???
then it struck me.. "your kettle has been on the fire since.. oh.. 3?" that means.. i left the kettle on for 2 hours. you see, i have this very big kettle.. probably more than 5 litres of water it can hold. and when i finally turned the fire off.. half of the kettle was empty.. in that 2 hours i was happily humidifying the air in my house not to mention heating it up too! trallalla.. thus.. the condensation on the windows and doors. oh trallalla.. thinking about it. i'm DAMN lucky to be alive!
good thing the kettle was HUGE! and good thing the fire did NOT go out. or not i'd probably have died of gas poisoning. a good one and a half hours worth of gas breathed in.. bleh.. thank you God!!!
i usually set my alarm clock to remind myself of the boiling water you see.. but today i forgot. i know.. i'm hopeless. can never remember a simple thing like "you are boiling water". i just happily trot up to my room and start doing my work and go to la-la land. from now on! i will only boil water when i'm downstairs. if not.. i must really remember to set alarm clock. better still.. i'll leave the boiling water to my sisters>.<.
waaaahh.. christine the klutz will also be known as christine the klutz.
ps: i found a really nice dress on ebay. but it's too big at size 12. sigh.. oh well. glad to know i'm a US size 8. muahahahhahaha... *but i want that pweety pink dwess*:(
