CNY!!!
Today is 'lin sam sap man'(literal translation: year 30 night)... Okay, technically it's not 'man'(night) yet.. But it's the eve of the CNY!!
Lucky me, CNY first day is on Auckland Anniversary. No need to take leave for CNY! hahahha..
I have decorated the house with some 'hong paos'(red packets).. looking quite festive now.. hehehe.. not bad not bad.. Painted my nails a fire cracker red :D wheee.. what else is there to do? House is well, as clean as I could have bothered getting it to be.. ughh.. Trying la okay!!
Cookies baked :D though... not as many varieties as I was planning to have around. :( This year, I made the cookies.. 3 types only..
Gonna have some friends over on Monday.. Still trying to decide if I should invite as many over or just a couple and get the others to visit at another time.. ho hummm..
Hopefully I've got everything... Still can't decide what to wear on first day! Thinking the new dress but but but.... I think it's a bit formal for day >.<.. Oh dear.. And the other new clothings are not red.. Wanna wear RED!!! hehehee..
I had some other semi intellectual thing to talk about... but I can't seem to remember what it was...
Anyway, learnt a lot on Friday about work... with regards to management and all.. Learnt the reason why I'm on contract.. it's not a very comforting reason.. Know what areas I'm gonna be in charge of.. Not really the ones I was hoping for, but I guess I cannot complain. No choice. Have to just accept. It's not TOO bad. I hope it's not as much of a certain field of work which I'm not too keen on. Oh well.. Just have to keep my head down and keep at it. On my way to getting my designation. I hope I get it soon. I really want to do it FAST! So I can prove myself.
Well, just gotta keep on forging! Onward ho!! At least I have a job now right?
