oh geez.. i really need to start working out too. darn it. i hate going to gyms. or rather i just don't feel comfortable there i suppose. don't know why. i like doing other sorts of exercises. i find it kinda boring cycling on those fixed bicycles. i'd much rather have a real bike and go round feeling the wind against my face and seeing things whiz past me. haha.. kinda reminds me of the days in malaysia where i used to go cycling at the back of my housing estate near some remnants of a palm oil estate. i could smell the smell of plants. if you'd ever smelt them you'd know. sorta like the smell of a forest or rather a secondary forest or more like a bush. hehe.. it's that certain smell. like how you water plants in the evening after a warm day you get this smell radiating from it. yeah.. and the road was kind of sloping. well, a mild slope i suppose..er..yah.. i used to go downhill real fast.. usually if you go downhill you don't continue cycling rite? but me.. i'd cycle even harder so that i could whizz down that slope and see how fast i go. have to admit though. the old palm oil estate was probably home to some stray dogs and some other animals. have always been paranoid of them.haha.. me and my frens were out cycling one day when we got chased by a dog. i took a detour when i saw the dog running after my frens.. yes yes.. a deserter.. hehehe..:P that li'l patch of palm oil estate is gone now. replaced by another housing area. *sigh* where have all the greenery gone to?
wonder how melawati is like now. that's where i spent a major part of my childhood. that was my home. that's where ed's home in malaysia is. i bet it's different now. used to live at the foot of this hill. and it was cool.. haha.. talking about cycling. i once tried to cycle with both hands off the handle bar.. brilliant idea christine.. *WHAM!* Blergh.. see the road.. pitch black(probably b'cuz i closed my eyes) and next thing i know.. i see ppl running towards me.. ooo.. it's ok.. lucky nothing wrong with me.. just a deep gash in my leg.. ok.. NEVER am i EVER gonna cycle with no hands.. one hand i can deal with.. no hands? eeps.. hehehe..
