smells galore..

has anyone ever realised that scent if very much part of our lives? well, take for example the bathroom alone. all that soap and shampoos and stuff in there all smell of something. well, this is random i know.. but just kinda thought about it when i was taking a bath. yeah.. my bath foam comprised of green tea and some other things(and due to my mistake in thinking my new bottle of shower gel was my bottle of bath foam, there was also the scents of kiwifruit and mango..yeesh.. what a waste of shower gel!! oni realised that it was the wrong bottle after 2 big squirts.. >.< doh..)my shampoo of something else(which i don't know what.. probably some synthesised scent) and my conditioner has a hint of what i think is coconut. but says on the packaging there's avocado oil. er.. can't remember whether avocadoes have a scent or how they smell like. mm.. that's not it. my facial toner smells of raspberry(so yummy i just want to eat it!!heheh..) ah.. the wonders of having a bath/shower.. you go in smelling like poo and come out smelling like flowers/roses and for you manly males out there.. er.. something not flowery la..hehhe.. :P i just love baths.. so relaxing. decided to reward myself with a soak in the tub after my 8.4kms worth of run..er.. walk. hehe.. it was not bad..

got pruny fingers now.. my skin's all folded up cause soaked in water too long.. keke.. but yah.. alarm clock rang at 7 this morning. still couldn't figure out whether i should join the charity run cuz my sis is sick and wasn't gonna do it. finally came to my final decision at 8 after mulling around in bed and cuz sis' bf came in and asked me to make a decision quick cuz he was leaving in 20 minutes time.. oops.. hehe.. anyway.. sis told me that a couple of her frens were walking. eh.. found out that wasn't true cuz they were gonna run and try making it there in less than an hour.. beh.. byebye.. anyway.. headed to sis' fren's apartment to meet up and detoured on the way there cuz sis' bf needed to go to his office to get his company's shirt and his tag. found out that i most probably had to walk alone. seriously wanted to head home then. but then, stuck it out. headed for the starting line. so many ppl!!! had to squeeze our way to the front to get to the head of the pack. countdown.. and started running.. well, the front ppl started runnin but i(lost everyone by then.. so was pretty much alone except for the few thousands of ppl round me)was stuck. u know how at the traffic lights, where the light turns green but you still can't move anyway cuz of the front cars? yah.. it was like that.. was deciding.. jog? or walk? jog? arrghh.. everyone jogging!! eee.. start jogging.. hahah.. i did pretty well.. i think i got to a few hundred metres before i got tired.. more than i thought i could do. but i think i kinda made a mistake in jogging straight away. legs were cramping up a li'l. so slowed down and walked fast(like how i usually do when i go for my walks). walked all the way until i was about 50 m or so from the finish line.. hehe.. the words 'FINISH' inspired me to run.. hahah..:P

walked the whole way alone. but entertained myself(oh gee, that makes me sound really kookky in the head eh?doesn't help if i go on to say that i was talking to myself in my head and my sis' bf just commented this morning that i like to talk to myself or rather mumble to myself.. mm.. come to think of it. another person told me that last saturday >_<).. haha. was looking around.. watched the ppl around me. saw a guy with bright neon orange running shoes.. NEON ppl.. NEON!! and well, so many interesting things going on.. ppl waving from apartments, bridges. hehe.. and well, the hash harriers with their supermarket cart filled with coolers which was filled with beers. haha.. the group of taekwando ppl shouting out in that military sing-song manner.. and oh.. i'm reminded of something that happened in last year's round the bays. this group of ppl(i think it was the hash harriers.. but not too sure) running and towing behind them a bbq on wheels. hehe.. yah.. their very own mobile bbq. hahah.. that was fun to watch them pull it! yeah..started humming and singing(in my head lar.. not out loud!) after i passed the lion red ppl halfway thru the course. they had these few ppl singing/performing for the participants..

but yeah.. i've made it once again.. all 8.4 km of it! 82 minutes was my time. eh.. not bad kay.. WALKED all the way.. hehe.. i'm a walker not a runner! muahhahaa.. went for bbq after that. supposed to be under my sister's company. but too bad. was wearing another company's shirt(got it last year) and went for their bbq. they had this jazz band. and a masseuse, who was charging $1 perminute, there.hehe..

last night, me and my sis encountered a person with(what i've decided to name) the 'konichiwa' syndrome, while on our way to my cousin's apartment in the city to say byebye to my aunt and uncle who are off back to m'sia today. a person who's suffering from the konichiwa syndrome tends to be of a young age and think themselves as uber cool dressed in baggy clothing and tend to be driving around in a ratty(or a racerboy type) car on a saturday (might be friday or any other day) night.*note* 'konichiwa' syndrome sufferers also may not own a car and just hang around the city doing nothing(i.e lepak). the afflicted person will show signs of this syndrome when he shouts out the greeting "KONICHIWA" to every asian looks like a japanese or rather whom the afflicted one thinks is japanese(cuz he doesn't realise that chinese are not japanese). the only reasonable response to ward off such a person with the 'konichiwa' syndrome would be in the form of your middle finger in full view of the afflicted one. this is a rather polite response to their rather polite greeting.

ah.. yes.. yes.. i should be a researcher in rare diseases no? hehehe:P that's it.. i'm tired.. see u peeps around soon..
