wedding dinner that caused me to go MIA..
yes yes.. sorry ed! me was a bit in a rush to get ready for the wedding which coincidentally WASN'T mine.. haih. no matter how i deny it you still don't believe me eh? nvm..
anyhoo.. the wedding was at this place called cockle bay. wedding reception was in this house which was converted to a restaurant that was facing the sea. and.. next to the restaurant there's this little reserve(park). and the wedding vows and registry of the marriage was held there.. wow!! the weather was BEAUTIFUL!! hehhe.. clear skies.. wow.. amazing.. hehe.. it was nice. except that there was something wrong with the sewer hole thingy. i think it's called a manhole. it was overflowing and here was this frothy bubbly brownish stinky water coming out of it.. eeeew.. but lucky it was not near the grass area where the wedding registry and all were held.. hehe.. anyway.. hahha.. got myself into a fix again. wore heels.. like the high kinda heels and not so wide heels.. not too spiky.. but kinda thin heels. and hello? GRASS... and HEELS?? don't mix do they?hahha.. walking was difficult.. but try standing in one spot.. you'll find yourself sinking in after a while.. ahhahahah..
the wedding cake was interesting. it was made of profiterols. er.. you know those puff pastry thingies? something like an eclaire really.. but it was stuck onto this conical shaped aluminium foil to make it look like a cake.. yummy.. heehheh. had a glass of champagne. didn't taste so good. i suppose i don't like it much. spilt my drink. don't ask why.. hahaha.. i think it had something to do with my bottle of bubble water(they handed out bottles of bubble liquid for you to use to blow bubbles when the bridal couple had finished signing their marriage cert. hehehe) leaking and me trying to prevent it from leaking but was holding my cardigan, a glass of champagne, camera and hand bag and some things almost falling causing me to try to prevent my things from falling but in the process forgetting i had a half full glass of champagne in my hands.. haha.. lucky my eldest sis moved quickly enough and avoided the champagne from hitting her.. phew! if not i wouldn't hear the end of it lar. hahaha.. had this fruit punch too..er.. tasted funny.. must have been those mint leaves. not exactly a fan of mint.
anyway.. dinner was ok.. and not too bad..hhehe.. i had lamb shanks.. yummers.. funny thing is.. i was the ONLY one who had that dish at my table.. u see, there was 3 choices of mains you could choose. either chicken, fish or lamb.and the waiter was like.. oh.. you're the only one.. trying to go against.. the grain or something.. hahaha.. yeah.. i know.. i like very funny things. but no regrets about choosing 'em lamb shanks.. nice.. ehheheh :P my last year's chem teacher was there too. she's a real close family fren of the bride's family. weird how small this world is eh? wasn't surprised seeing her there. was expecting it cuz i kinda knew ledi. heheh.. then had dessert too.. ice cream or tiramisu. chose ice cream. thought tiramisu would have been too filling.. heheh..
things that happened at my table:
1)someone spilt red wine. like lucky for the table cloth.. if not the guy kena ledi lar..
2) the table cloth caught fire. cuz they had candles on the table..
3) my sis nearly fell off her chair.. no idea how..suddenly i see her grabbing the table.. ahahaahahh
the view there was nice. full moon today. reflecting off the sea. it was really breathtaking.the moon's so bright when it's full.. serioulsy gives a lot of extra light. and there were loads of stars too.. clear skies.. so nice.. waaaa...
anyway.. i gtg now.. feeling a bit exhausted.. nah make that REALLY exhausted. got a Malaysian Union welcome bbq to attend tomolo. tired. but going anyway lar. should get involved more if i want a life in uni rite?hehhe.. oklah... blog later..see ya..
