Wasn't going to blog but I think there are just too many bloggable things to ignore.
For the first time in a very long time, I finally woke up on time. Thanks to the personal wake up call from darling Lucy. 6.40am on the dot, the phone rang. Woke up.
Made it to breakfast on time. 8am sharp. Ahh.. breakfast.. The beginning of a day that I would like to name as a 'A gastric system's biggest nightmare", or "The day computers hate me".
Thanks to dear Danny, I had 3 croissants(medium sized, filled with cheese, ham and tomato or ham and egg. The cheese, ham and tomato one was better. had 2 of those.), a quiche, one crepe with fruit filling and finally, a fried bread basket thing-a-majig filled with some kinda minced up meat paste. That.. was breakfast.. for free. Courtesy of Danny graduating... for the second time this week.
THEN...... THEnn.... I had my food sensory lab. As most of you would know, sensory lab is where I go to TASTE food. Yes. TASTE FOOD. Yes, I ended having MORE food not long after eating the aforementioned list of food. The heaviest ever in a very very long time at such an early hour!
In the lab, I tasted 8 little sipper cups of flavoured drinks and quite a bit of coke because it was tasting too good. ER... well, I think I prefer pepsi over coke in terms of how Pepsi does not give an after-taste. Anyway, also had CHOCOLATE for lab. Yes, you heard me right. CHOCOLATE. Was supposedly meant to have HOT CHIPS(read: fries). But lecturer thought it'd be too taxing on us so it was only chocolate. I do believe I had almost 2 rows of a chocolate slab. OUch.
Then I had lunch after tutorial. Just some leftovers.
Then.. I headed to Howick end for Tina's b'day celebration. Ah.. right. On the way to the restaurant, we stopped by a bakery to get her a cake. Was too hungry that I bought myself a little custard puff. YUmmm..
Had stonegrilled steak, scallops and prawns for dinner alongside 2 side dishes, kumara chips(horrible) and some veges. Groan.. Nice BIG portions actually.
Here comes the icing on the cake..(literally!).
You know how Lucy and Len bought Tina a cake? Well, she bought one herself!!!!!!!!!
So we had 6 GIRLS. and 2 small cakes. Not that small. Will post pics of everything up later so that you can have an idea.
WE... FINISHED.... THE CAKESSSSSSSSS.. YES .. cakeS!!! PLURAL PPL.. BOTH CAKES!!!
Tina had at least a whole cake, whereas me?? I think I had like almost HALF a cake.. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa...
Today's diet has consisted of sugar sugar sugar sugar. Hahhaa.. I got so hyper after eating b'day cake. goodness.. it was bad.. Talking too fast..
On another note, Between 2 computers, I hung them 3 times! My computer, I thought, had a problem due to me running certain corrupted file. But.. er.... Well, I hung it twice. So I started using the comptuer AMY was using the WHOLE tutorial. Everything was fine for her.. UNTIL I touched the damned thing.. Aiihhh..
Even better still.. This just showcases my .. brilliance. The lab I enter is a sterile environment. So, we aren't allowed to use our own lab coats. They provide with cleaned ones. So, right.. er.. well... I kind of left my stationery in the lab coat pocket. So, I didn't realise until much later. Had to dig around a LOT of lab coats until I found my stuff. Lucky it wasn't too deep into the bag! sheesh.
