The sound of seagulls squawking somehow reminds me of my Dad's hometown, Malacca. I suppose it reminds me of being next a beach. In the early hours of the morning. I don't particularly have any precise memory of me being by the sea at such an early hour in the morn. Just, the image and feeling that I get of being next to the sea in the wee hours of the morning hearing the seagulls squawk just as the sun is about to rise is so strong that I feel somewhat, nostalgic.

It almost feels as if I am indeed there. Except that I am here in NZ, in my little room and it's actually cold....

heh.. The power of your brain.. Maybe of lack of sleep as well. :P
