I really hate that sappy feeling some melons, in this case rock melon, leaves in your mouth. YUCK. It's horrid. I've drunk water(didn't help), eaten other things.. Bleh.. Yuck.. I don't know why.. but the melons here do not taste as good as they do in Malaysia. Haih.. must be like that papaya case where it only ripens and taste good above a certain temperature. heh.
I am very blur today. Went to Spotlight to get some stuff. The one in Panmure ain't that great. There were no weird headbands and stuff. Sigh. Boring. Not like the one Audrey brought me and 2nd sis to to buy eldest sis' hen party thing-a-majigs.
Home alone... again. Yawn. Getting quite lonely nowadays. Haih.. There's a difference between an empty house and a house with other ppl in it. Even if you don't speak to the other party even if they were in the house.
Feel like a bloody house wife. Been doing all sorts of household chores. Vacuumed the house la.. Took me an hour. Hehehe.. So now I know, to vacuum the whole darned house will take me an hour. Proud of myself. ehhehe.. thought it'd take me at least another hour more. Then boiled some white carrot/turnip(dunno what you call it la) soup. Yum. hehhhehe..
Found a caterpillar in one of the corn that was meant to be cooked for dinner. I don't know what has happened to me. when I was a kid I used to hold these little critters and PLAY with them. Now? I try to be brave to chop off that part with the caterpillar.. but no... the moment I see how LONG the freaking thing is I couldn't stand it. DUmped it down and promptly ran to the couch to cower in fear. I'm hopeless. Put me in fear factor and everything will come crumbling down the moment I see worms/worm-like things. ARGH!
Actually.. that was NOT the only caterpillar I found.. At the vege shop today, was buying more corn for dinner as we didn't have enough and lucky I was being the superbly particular person, I was peeling off the corn shell thingies to check to see if the corn was nice when I saw IT. BAH.. a caterpillar similar to the one I found while cleaning the corn later. ARGH! LUCKY I was checking. The one with the caterpillar in it was bought in a bag of 3 by my 2nd sis though. Sigh.. my eldest sis was like "You do know that caterpillar's basically been in your fridge for like the past week or so?". I just said "Yeah.. but it was in the damned bag at least!".
Corn farmers must be having quite a big problem with these pests eh? Must be a problem this year. Previous years haven't had a problem...

Yesterday was Gjin's b'day. Went to "THe Met" for her celebration. Man.. that gurl was still standing perfectly well without any assistance by the end of the night. For a person who's having her b'day at a bar.. it ain't normal kay! hahahahha.. kidding.
