It's the first day of work!
I remember, when I was a kid.. and I'd just moved to Subang.. I didn't like my class.. I hated it. I didn't fit in. Maybe cause it wasn't streamed. You see, the classes last time used to be streamed. Better students in one class and so on and so forth. Suffice to say.. there were groupings of kids with similar attitudes.. maybe the whole 'geeks' and 'jocks' thing going on.. something like that la. I mean, seriously, the kids who had best scores were like super geeky right? Though.. i hardly studied for any exams... I can't even remmeber having to study for any exams in primary school! sheesh.
Anyway, I know that I got scolded once by a teacher when I used the excuse of being a "new student". Well, I believe I'd been there for a couple of months then.. maybe one or two and I got a scalding for not having a book. Hmm.. Yeah.. I was maybe quite devillish. Or just unwiling to adapt.. who knows?
There was another time, back in my old school in Melawati.. I was in music class.. It was boring .. like extremely. All we did was sing songs.. So, I rested my chin on my hands which were laying on the desk.. THe teacher thought I was sick... and I played along gleeful at being able to miss out on the boring-est music class ever (That's probably cause I was taking piano lessons). I tried that trick again.. it didn't work.. *sigh*
Well, let's hope none of those above will occur again now in my work. LOl.. learnt my lesson?
The first day of work was alright. It was meeting countless people whose names I've pretty much forgotten. 2 people's names I made sure I remembered were the receptionist's and the resource person. Gotta pick whose names you remember! hehe.. Dang.. they really need name cards/plates around.. Seriously. How does anyone identify anyone around there?? Dang.. forgot the erm.. office manager's name.. Sigh.. I was frantically trying to write everyone's names whom I remembered after my manager had taken me around. Die la. =.=
But all is well. I have a computer which can't be accessed. My contract, hopefully, is in the HR person's hands.. ermm.. I have to figure out where to park my car.. either in a free area which looks slightly dodgy... or to pay either $2.50/3.00 for safer off-street parking. Turns out there's no parking after all. Bah.. Drive so far also no parking. what a bummer.

If there's one thing that REALLy annoys me... is getting WOKEN up.. JUST WHEN I'D FALLEN ASLEEP.......
cause I can't fucken go back sleep. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
