The end to a good holiday.
Yesterday, I marked the end of my holidays with some pretty heavy partying. Attended a pot luck with the UMSA bunch. Ahh.. to think.. my term as a committee member officially ends this month. It is rather heart wrenching yet.. I'm quite happy to pass on the responsibilities to the next generation. Don't know la. I guess the things I would miss most would be the laughter and the banter with my fellow Malaysians(and non-Malaysians as well!).
Life would probably be different with less things to do related to UMSA. Less things to keep myself occupied with. oh dear.. What would I do with all that spare time... Actually.. probably not la. hahahha..
THus, life just goes on.
The pot luck was fun.. with people bringing mostly desserts. Hahha.. Yes, we had a mini dessert night. For mains we had pizza, pasta, pasta, pasta and the tom yam grilled chicken I made.. Thank goodness I chose to bring chicken. kekeek.. Else it'd be a pasta and dessert night! oh.. and plus one pizza of course.:)
We basically had a tuna pasta from Yi xin and Ian, David's virgin linguini(eh hem.. first time Mr. Prez cooked pasta mar!) and Joo Ann's really yummy fried spaghetti. Mmm.. Caleb brought pizza from La Porchetta. Mei brought 2 types of cake. Zaf baked a chocolate cake and I baked a chocolate cake as well just cause I felt very domesticated and felt like baking. I blamed the weather for sucking away all my party ju-ju and leaving me with only domesticated ju-ju. Jasmine made this trifle which I love SOOooo much, Pui Li boiled black glutinous rice dessert, Yean made sago dessert, Sheng's mum made fruit cake(which he didn't even know whether was his or not!!-.-") and a corn kuih.... Yi xin brought ice-cream as well. Ooo.. right.. Shermayne made seri muka, Ying Swan brought cinnamon rolls(Mei and I kissed her for that) and Dallas brought munchkins!! wheeeee..
What else? I can't think of.. this is such a ranty blog.. That's cuz I'm sleepy. Hahha..
Basically, at 11.45, Mei, matt and I set off for the Met to meet *eh hem* Kevin and his posse to party it out. They.. arrived.. at 2am... I think...
Basically, it goes like this.. from 12 something until they arrived, Mei and I were basically hassling Jengis and Kevin to hurry it up. Well, it was more like Jengis only in the end cuz Kevin was not replying(probably cuz he was too high already.. lol). At one point of time, Mei and i just burst out laughing when we received a message from Jengis saying that they were just gettin in the taxi at around 1.30am I believe. Basically, what Mei said was that she wanted to go home by 2am... If they had not arrived by 1.30am, she was gonna go home.. HAhahha.. THat's what really set us off laughing because they weren't even there before 1.30am..
It was a rather hilarious night.. Basically, almost everyone in Kevin's group was.. gone or going :P. hahahahhaha. Yes.. Mei and I ended up bringing one of the girls to the toilet cuz she was too drunk and needed to wee.. Yes.. We basically introduced ourselves while she was.. er.. doing her wee. hahaha.. Nice way to get to know new people aye? HAHahahha.. good thing Met toilets are big? I notice that it was quite common for 2 girls to enter one cubicle.... Don't know why..
Carolyn ar.. hahahha.. she kept denying that she was seeing someone.. but was seen pashing furiously with him not just ONCE.. but ... I don't know.. lost count.. hahahahha..damn wth! ahhahahha. So funny.. Cannot la.. cannot.. I remember also I wanna laugh! Carolyn that girl.. the past few times I've met her.. she look like such a good girl.. well, okay.. maybe not good good girl la.. but like, someone who would have a level head? Hahaha.. when I saw her yesterday/early this morning.......... nothing to say man.. NOTHING. she kept trying to er.. teach someone something dodgy. AND kept trying to matchmake ppl. AND move some ppl's hands somewhere.. *groan*. That girl ar... Sigh..
Music was too loud though. That's the problem with Met. I woke up this morning and my left ear was still fuzzy!-.-". NOt a bad night indeed.. Things really took off after I had that shot of absinthe.. which basically burnt my throat. meep.-.-" But yes.. after that I just went to my happy land. The land of high high.. *dies*..
Ah well, a good night indeed. Started off slow. BUt heck.. ended.. high. HAhahha.. at least I managed to come home and had a good shower.. Even washed my hair. *ahhhh*.. bliss.. ehehe.. nope.. no sitting at the staircase this time.. hehehhe.
