I was emptying the small waste bottles from the gas chromatograph(GC) machine yesterday. The cap of these bottles are special and have this special plastic attachment that guides the GC needle into the the jar. The thing's detachable from the black cap..
I opened the bottle and tipped it over a big solvent waste bottle(Solvents cannot be disposed straight into drains) which was pretty FULL. Then suddenly I see that plastic attachment falling into the waste bottle!! A FULL waste bottle.
ARGHH..
Lucky, there was an extra solvent waste bottle so i managed to empty it over and got the bloody attachment.. Which was right at the bottom of the bottle. Heh... oh well.
anyho.. i need sleep.. later ppl!
