Oh what a day.. Rolled out of bed to go for a facial.. fell asleep during facial.. ahh.. Then came home to fix my wonky fringe (as it always is after a facial) and headed out for a tête-à-tête session with Mei Fang for lunchies. We decided to try this place called Altar cafe.
Food was all good and yum yum.. Seafood chowder was NOTHING like the one I had previously. This one was nice and thick.. not cause of added cream or anything but cause they added potato in :). There was heaps of seafood in there to make it more like a stew than a soup. 2 scallops on top and a big prawn to finish with 2 slices of sourdough bread.. Sourdrough bread + pan fried scallop = yummers. The chicken + mushroom risotto Mei Fang ordered was yummers too :)

Then.. after some fluffing around, decided to share a cake. We'd pretty much eaten almost the whole cake when my teeth grazed against something and I thought it was egg shell.. I spat whatever I had in my mouth out and lo and behold...
