Murphy's Law...

"Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong."

What worries me is my stupidity that makes Murphy's law even more likely to occur. Or maybe it's just me being too trusting? I just seem to be so easily placated. Then later I realise how STUPID I am exactly. Why? I don't know. It's not as if it's the first time I've done so. I think the problem with me is, when someone does something good for me, I feel it unnecessary to burden them anymore. In fact, I feel it's more of a kind of.. well, something I shouldn't do as they are already being so nice to me! Ergo, I leave it at that and place myself in a position in which may be complicated in the future.

I don't know. Everything's just.. floating around. Whatever is. I'm just going to fall back on one rock. God help me please.

I went for the BCG info thing today. It seemed rather out of my capabilities. Haha. I guess here comes self-doubt and what not. Go figure.

My back's aching again. Sigh. My seating position just sucks I suppose. I can do this I can do this..

ON a happier note?

It's just an odd sense of achievement and proudness to see my work, being included in the lecture slides. A lecture in which I, myself, am being lectured to! It's just odd.. However, it's just so difficult. I feel so happy and proud. Yet, I'm trying hard, SO SO hard NOT to show it... I don't want to come across as proud or what. Haha.. I don't know.. maybe it's just because I haven't achieved as much in this life of mine. What I noticed was that, at the lecture, I was actually paying attention as I realised how much it interested me. Maybe it was because it was something I had done before. Ergo, you'd naturally tune in more to things which you've personally been involved in no? Who knows..

Bryani rice for dinner. I'm so full from the 3 slices of pizza I had during the orientation thing for chemistry students. I sat through a safety lecture, an orientation for post-grads and then a lecture. Not too bad I suppose. I miss Lucy. I don't really have anyone to pass silly notes to during lecture to keep myself awake. I will no longer complain. I was happy this morning and I will try to keep it that way. I trust that God will let this be true and not be a mistake.
