Dating and relationships.
Apparently there's a difference to dating and being a couple. WEll, I suppose there is. Just that I've been an ignorant person per usual and have just been couped up in my little shell I call "my life".
By dating ppl, you're not actually attached to that person. You can still see other ppl and it's not just going out and doing stuff as friends but there are 'other' things which you may do as well. I guess it's being in a relationship but with more freedom. A testing period. I dunno. I'm rambling. Just mindlessly typing. For me, the start to a relationship is not through dating. It's being friends. And leading from that you go onto to going out together alone maybe. And then going into the relationship. Oh.. nvm.. I'm just really not getting my message through.
On to my usual ramblings. Spent the last hour reading essays written by Malaysian youths for a competition. I have to say. Some of these stories are so good. Made me wanna cry. Specially love the 1942 stories about war. Sigh.. THere's one about a malay boy and his father hiding a Brit family from the Japs. SO sad la. It's called "A teen in the war of 1942" under category B. From catagory A, my favs are "Like Running water", "sweet sixteen" and "ash in the sky". Check these stories out here.
So yes, had a feast again today. I have pictures of the 10 or so dishes we had for dinner. Full blown feast if you ask me. yum yum. And I'm proud to say.. I mixed the fish paste for the stuffed mushrooms! Hahaha.. But my sister stewed the mushrooms and made the sauce :P.. teehee.. At least i did SOME thing rite? HO hOhoO.. LOusy weather however. Could not have a good lantern session at all. weather's crap for the whole weekend. How delightful. Pictures I will put up later. Maybe it is time for me to start on my lab report. Sigh sigh.
OH.. a historical day is was the 17th of sept. It was the first time Christine ever voted for a general election. WWaahhH!! Big gurl edi hor? heh-.-" Too bad the ppl I voted for all didn't win. sigh sigh. So funny lah. the voting booths were.. er.. very cardboard like.. what am I talking about.. THey WERE made of cardboard!! hahahah.. so farneey!! I was like looking around the school hall and wondering where those booths were. I was imagining at least with cloth draped around or something laaa. Mana tau.. cardboard booths. and ORANGE pens to mark with! Man.. they really going with the orange theme la. the mascot for the voting occasion is "orange guy".

well, the word's formed from 2 words. one malay and one english. one curse and one non-curse word. the curse word is commonly used.
