Where should I get my garland of flowers to stick on my head?

Dressing up as a fairy is easy.
THere is one problem though. I don't have wavy hair. And most fairies have been depicted with wavy long hair. mmmmm.. My last attempt(for last year's ball) with the curling iron was what you'd term a gone-case-scenario.
